Extremexposure teach on many beaches around Scotland. Always looking to get the best advantage from the weather we will normally pick a location that will give the best conditions for the day. This isn't always possible so sometimes if you want the best you may have to travel, but it is normally worth the effort.
Balmedie is one of our main locations as it is where we developed. 11 miles of uninterrupted sand with very few dangers to get in the way or your teaching experience
Fraserburgh and St Combs offer some of the best water conditions for Kitesurfing and large beaches make other land based sports accessible
St Andrews has long since been a major meeting point for land based activities and there are regular kitebuggy and land board events held there. The water conditions are normally very good for teaching Kitesurfing as it is shallow during much of its tidal range.
Nairn, on the way to Inverness, offers up some large lagoon areas which are excellent for kite surf tuition although the sand is generally too soft for land based activities apart from power kiting.
When the tide is out the wide expanse of Troon is excellent for all land based activities and the shallow waters are ideal for kitesurf instruction.
