Most of us started participating in power kite sports because we saw someone else doing it and thought it would be a blast. We were right! Initially it was just for the shear pleasure however after getting lots of passers by asking where they could learn how to get involved themselves we decided to get qualified to fulfill the task of teaching with knowledge.
The first Extremexposure qualified instructor was in 2002 and since then 8 people who have come to us for lessons have become qualified instructors in one or more of the power kite disciplines, with one of those moving on to become an examiner with the IKO.
Possibly our greatest success is always when we help someone new to the sport to achieve a level of independence to allow them to participate without harm to themselves or the general public. Power kite sports are potentially dangerous, however to date we know of no serious incident involving someone we have taught.
Extremexposure instructors are very well traveled to such exotic places like Egypt, the Middle East, Turkey, St Lucia, South America, The Dominican Republic, South Africa, Australia, the Alps, Philippines and....so many places, yet so many more to explore!
