Kitesurfing Taster Day - Duration 6 hours (approx) - Cost Ł145

The kite surfing taster day is designed for people who would like to try the sport of kite surfing but have little or no experience at any power kite sport and would therefore like to 'give it a go' before making a further commitment to a full 3 day Kitesurfing course. This course is not designed as a shortened version of the 3 day kite surfing course and will not cover the majority of the safety aspects of Kite surfing that you should know to participate in the sport without harm to yourself, others or third party property. Should the participant in this course decide to go on and do a full 3 day course Ł60 will be deducted from the cost of the full course.

The Taster Day will consists of the following -

Initial flying zone site assessment and common safety guidelines
Setting up your kite and safety checks
Kite flying theory
Launching and landing assisted/unassisted
Development of your flying skills
Using a harness
Use of emergency quick release systems used in water based kites
Body dragging techniques using the kite to drag you through the water
Your first rider on a kite board.
