After having your initial Power Kite Lesson you may wish to purchase your own kite to continue enjoying the thrill of using a large power kite. Inevitably however you may wish to move on to more advanced methods of harnessing the kites power and explore one of the many other uses the kite can be put to.
Having developed your power kite flying skills your lesson will introduce you to putting the kites energy to use and power a land board/mountain board which is similar to a large skateboard with added foot straps. With many freestyle, course racing and social kite events throughout the UK this is a great sport to become involved with. Land boarding with a kite can be painful so formal instruction will allow you to get into this sport safely and it is recommended full safety equipment is worn at all times.
